Changhua has two R&D bodies, the Catalyst and Polyether Synthesis Institute and the Applied Foams Department, with 12 researchers, 1 senior engineer, 1 foreign technical adviser and 5 mid-level engineers. Changhua has been trying to present innovated products and technologies. Many years of technological accumulation helps Changhua register 11 patent technologies to its name, many of them leading the industry.
