Over a century of development has made chemical engineering one of the four fundamental types of engineering, and the chemical industry is also one of the basic industrial sectors in the world economy. However, environmental pollution caused by the development of the chemical industry are also increasingly drawing attention. Today, people realize that the traditional chemical industry must be changed to follow the requirements of sustainable development which has become the consensus of the whole world. To this end, an international concept, “green and refined chemicals”, has come up, arguing that the refined chemical industry must advance toward the “green” direction featuring low pollution or even zero pollution.
